Oral Presentations
Each presenter will be allocated 18 minutes. (Moderators may change this if there are absences or more than 5 presentations in a session.
Presentation Timing
- 12–15 minutes: Presentation
- 3-5 minutes: Question & Answer (Q&A)
- Please strictly adhere to the time limit to ensure a smooth program schedule.
Presentation Preparation
- Prepare slides using clear and readable fonts (minimum 24 pt recommended).
- Use concise bullet points and avoid excessive text.
- Emphasize key findings, visuals, and take-home messages.
- Recommended number of slides: 10–12 slides.
- Q&A Session
- Be prepared to briefly and clearly respond to questions.
- Keep answers concise to stay within the allotted time.
Presentation Upload Instructions
- Please bring your presentation on a USB drive (PowerPoint or PDF format recommended) and arrive at your assigned room at least 5 minutes before your session.
- The session coordinator will be available to assist you in uploading your presentation to the conference laptop.
- Check compatibility (fonts, videos, animations) in advance.

Poster Presentations
Size of the poster
Dimensions: 36 inches (height) × 48 inches (width) (landscape recommended)
Orientation options:
Landscape (preferred): better for flow and readability
Portrait: acceptable but less common
Please use PowerPoint or another poster design tool to create your poster. There is no fixed template, hence be creative.
Poster Printing
All presenters are responsible for printing and bringing their posters to the conference.
Please note that on-site printing services will not be available, so ensure your poster is printed in advance.
Poster Presentation Instructions
Please bring your printed poster and hang it in the designated display area on May 18 during the reception hours. There will be people to guide and help you hang the posters.
Presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the assigned session time to engage with attendees and answer questions.
Poster Formatting Guidelines
- Please use clear, easy-to-read fonts (e.g., Arial, Calibri, Helvetica, or similar sans-serif styles).
- The minimum font size must not be smaller than 12 pt.
- Recommended sizes for better visibility:
- Title: 85–110 pt
- Section headings: 40–55 pt
- Body text: 20–28 pt
- All content should be readable from a distance of at least 4–6 feet.
- Organize content into clear sections (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions).
- Maintain a logical reading flow (left-to-right or top-to-bottom).
- Use columns (3–4 recommended) for better structure.
- Use adequate white space (blank space) to avoid clutter and improve readability.
- Avoid overcrowding content—less is more.
- Align elements consistently to create a clean, professional appearance.
- Use a simple, consistent color scheme with high contrast between text and background. Avoid overly bright or distracting colors. Ensure all text is clearly visible against the background.
- Use bullet points instead of long paragraphs.
- Highlight key findings and takeaways clearly.
- Keep text concise and focused on essential information.
